Hatton Garden heist gang helper fined

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

A PLUMBER who helped the Hatton Garden raiders has been fined £367.50 for his “general criminal conduct”.

Hugh Doyle, from Enfield, north London, was convicted in January 2016 for providing safe access to a yard where stolen property from the multi million-pound jewellery raid could be moved between vehicles, Judge Christopher Kinch QC said.

The judge said it was agreed that Doyle had not received any benefit, payment or reward – but he had been deemed to have a “criminal lifestyle”.
