Richie says Hello with a UK tour
POP legend Lionel Richie has announced a summer tour of the UK.
The U.S. star is hitting the road in June for a string of gigs.
The singer and songwriter, 68, plans to perform hits from his extensive back catalogue, up to the present day.
Lionel ( said: “I’ve been missing the UK and can’t wait to make my long awaited return and to see parts of the country I’ve never made it out to before.
“The fans are always incredible and they make the atmosphere at every show electric, so I look forward to singing along with them soon.”
The tour starts with a show in Northampton on June 1, and other stops include Perth, Hove, Lincoln, Shrewsbury, Leigh, Carlisle, Scarborough, Chesterfield and London, where Richie will play at Hampton Court Palace Festival.
Tickets go on sale on February 2.
