Kohn denied the claims to police, saying her head was under the blanket for just two seconds.

She also said that she and Boehm were just joking around about joining the mile high club.

But fellow passenger Ronda Albers said: “A joke? Not from what I was seeing. I say that because the movement of the blanket made it pretty clear what was going on.”

Another passenger, Jenney Huschka, said the couple were kissing each other throughout the flight and that Kohn A BAN on smoking and a staff shortage led to a prison riot with inmates causing “thousands of pounds worth of damage”, a court has heard.

Luke Needham, 30, Andrew Alford, 41, and Deno Harrison, 23, are on trial charged with prison mutiny at HMP Erlestoke ( in Wiltshire.

Rob Welling, prosecuting, said that tensions rose on the weekend of June 11 and 12, 2016, after the prisoners were ordered to remain in their cells for the day because of a shortage of prison staff.

He said: “As you can imagine it caused tensions to rise among prisoners as it was a very unpopular move.”

Mr Welling said Needham then set fire to his cell and flooded it before kicking open his wooden cell door and helping other prisoners to escape their rooms.

The trial at Winchester Crown Court continues.
