Alice, 36, confessed she has a very high sex drive, making husband Alex CowperSmith a very lucky fella indeed.

The blonde beauty, who’s currently playing Gwenda Vaughan in the Agatha Christie drama, revealed she has high standards between the sheets.

She said: “I can’t get into an unmade bed; I can’t sleep with shoes anywhere near me – they have to be in a cupboard – and I absolutely hate a messy car.

“I also have a fairly high sex drive.”

Despite having a string of failed romances before marrying Alex in 2014, Alice refers to him as her “childhood sweetheart”.

Ordeal By Innocence is just one of seven Agatha Christie adaptations planned by the BBC over the next four years.

It was supposed to be shown around Christmas 2017 but it was postponed after lead actor Ed Westwick faced sex abuse allegations.

Alice’s role is the latest in a long line of top appearances including a stint in Sex and the City 2.

However, the actress arguably best known for her role as biologist Carol Marcus in Star Trek: Into Darkness in 2012.
