Zlat: Call Sweden after me!

FOOTBALL superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovi­c reckons Sweden will rename their country after him, because they LOVE him so much.

Zlatan, 36 ( above), who signed for LA Galaxy last month, said his home country can’t get enough of him and the modest striker claimed they’ll soon be calling the country ‘Zlatan’ on maps.

Talking about his popularity levels back home, he said: “I don’t think you can measure how popular I am. “I am Sweden. “They will even change the name to my name on the map. When you navigate in Sweden, you don’t write ‘Sweden’, you write ‘Zlatan’.”

When he signed for the Los Angeles team, he announced his arrival by taking out a full-page advert in the Los Angeles Times which said: “Los Angeles, you’re welcome.”

And when asked which Hollywood star he’d like to meet, he replied: “Me…I don’t want to meet nobody.
