MAN ‘CONNED GRANDAD, 92 OUT OF HIS LIFE SAVINGS TO PAY FOR LOVER’S BOOB JOB’
A MAN swindled his own 92-year-old grandfather to pay for his girlfriend’s boob job, a court heard.
Luke Quatrini, 34, is said to have conned his grandad out of his life savings to put down a £500 deposit for breast surgery for Emma Hodges.
The blonde aspiring model later posed for racy shots wearing skimpy outfits. money to pay household bills.
Mr Quatrini is also accused of using his grandad’s card to pay for Ryanair flights, online shopping on Amazon, hiring portaloo toilets and building work.
In total, he is accused of fraudulently spending more than £1,000.
Prosecutor Emma Harries said the crimes took place over a period of 10 months after Mr Quatrini moved in to his grandfather’s house in Newport, South Wales, in 2012 after there had been a fire at his own home.
Newport Crown Court heard former docks worker Mr Bartlett – who died last year – broke down in tears after believing his own family was stealing from him.
His son Michael said: “He was really upset.
“He explained that a few days before, a letter had come from his building society to say that one of his standing orders, it was for his electricity, had been rejected and that there was no money left in his account.
