CELEBRITY cook Jamie Oliver says that he HATES be­ing fa­mous and wishes he had just stayed an un­known restau­rant chef.

Strange from a bloke who only last year had two TV se­ries and a Christ­mas spe­cial, to add to his umpteen cook­ery shows, healthy eat­ing cam­paigns, recipe books, per­sonal ap­pear­ances and food ranges in the shops. was spot­ted in 1997 by a BBC pro­ducer while film­ing a doc­u­men­tary at the River Café in Lon­don.

He was given his own show, The Naked Chef.

Since then he’s barely been off our screens.

One show­biz source added: “For some­one who hates be­ing in the lime­light he’s cer­tainly a very busy man.

“Ev­ery day I wish Jamie Oliver wasn’t fa­mous, too!”
