CELEBRITY cook Jamie Oliver says that he HATES being famous and wishes he had just stayed an unknown restaurant chef.
Strange from a bloke who only last year had two TV series and a Christmas special, to add to his umpteen cookery shows, healthy eating campaigns, recipe books, personal appearances and food ranges in the shops. was spotted in 1997 by a BBC producer while filming a documentary at the River Café in London.
He was given his own show, The Naked Chef.
Since then he’s barely been off our screens.
One showbiz source added: “For someone who hates being in the limelight he’s certainly a very busy man.
“Every day I wish Jamie Oliver wasn’t famous, too!”
