McDonald’s in small fries row

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

McDONALD’S has been accused of ripping off customers to the tune of £33MILLION a year by selling portions of fries smaller than advertised.

A total of 29 of the 45 portions checked in major UK cities were under the chain’s recommended weight, according to C5 consumer programme

Servers are meant to gently shake the box from side-to-side and ensure that the fries are pointing down into the bag or box, and must fill bags to the correct weight.

McDonald’s have told customers to tell their server if they’re unhappy.
