COLD CUTS: Diner where nut hid in freezer with knife A “DERANGED” man wreaked havoc when he jumped out of a restaurant freezer and tried to attack employees with a knife shouting “Away, Satan! Away’!”

Carlton Henderson, 54, shocked employees and charged at them after he somehow sneaked into the walk-in freezer.

He was wrestled to the floor, where he lost consciousnesses and then suffered a heart attack.

Police said the man suffered a medical emergency, later confirmed to be cardiac arrest, and he was rushed to hospital, where Henderson was later pronounced dead.

It emerged that he had only recently been released from a jail.

Police said he had “made statements that were consistent with him being mentally unstable”. old Antonio Dos Reis. He was released from jail last Wednesday when a judge threw out key evidence in the pending case and ordered that he be released.

Judge Janet Sanders said Henderson’s 1993 statements couldn’t be used against him.

A witness to the restaurant episode said: “I’m gonna be a darn sight more careful opening my freezer from now on. Ain’t no crazy gonna get the jump on me, no way.”
