A new study found that to enjoy a pint of beer to its fullest, Brits should pop to a pub just after final score on a Saturday – and in time for the 5.30pm kick-off.
A poll of 1,000 beer lovers around the UK found that a perfect pint should have a frothy head of 9mm and served in a proper pint glass.
According to the study by St Austell Brewery’s Proper Job IPA to celebrate Cask Ale Week – which runs until September 30 – the first pint should take 28 minutes to sup.
