Midweek Sport - - HOT N HORNDY -

THE recipe for the PERFECT PINT has been revealed – a frothy head of 9mm, served in a ‘proper’ pint glass along with a bag of crisps at 5.30pm on a Saturday.

A new study found that to enjoy a pint of beer to its fullest, Brits should pop to a pub just after final score on a Saturday – and in time for the 5.30pm kick-off.

A poll of 1,000 beer lovers around the UK found that a perfect pint should have a frothy head of 9mm and served in a proper pint glass.

According to the study by St Austell Brewery’s Proper Job IPA to celebrate Cask Ale Week – which runs until September 30 – the first pint should take 28 minutes to sup.
