A TEACHER has avoided jail after cheating on her police officer husband with TWO of her students.

Sarah Lewis, 29, was handed a five-year suspended prison sentence after she admitted shagging one of the two 17-yearolds in a plea deal.

However, she has been warned she could face a year behind bars if she is convicted on a separate drugs charge.

Lewis was initially arrested in January 2017 while working as a dance and social studies tutor at Landmark High School in Spanish Fork, Utah.

A student had told police she had had sex with him at her home, despite being married to a copper, after plying the teen with beer and vodka.

He filmed them kissing on a sofa before they went into a bedroom and DRUNK: Lewis plied teens with booze he sent footage to his friends, the court heard.

Lewis later told police the fling was a ‘one-time thing’ and said: “My husband was gone and I was drunk. I don’t know, it was easy, I guess. I don’t know. It never happened again.”

But she was arrested again two weeks later when a second student confessed to bonking Lewis.

They swapped messages on Snapchat before she picked him up and led him to her bedroom after giving him whisky and champagne.

In a plea deal in June 2017, Lewis admitted sexual activity with the student who filmed the encounter and got the suspended prison sentence.

Lewis will return to court on October 22 to face two counts of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute and owning drug paraphernalia.
