Ambulance thief told cops: ‘Why leave it unlocked?’
A SERIAL offender has been arrested for the 39th time after she stole an AMBULANCE and led police on a high speed chase.
Authorities eventually brought the vehicle to a halt with a police spike strip and Christy Woods was arrested.
While being taken to Oregon’s Douglas County Corrections centre, Woods told cops: “Why would they leave it unlocked?”
She also cursed: “F**k, I’m going to prison.”
Woods (above), of Roseburg, Oregon, was booked on 14 charges, including assault, interfering with paramedics, criminal mischief and reckless driving.
The 37-year-old has an extensive rap sheet, mostly for disorderly conduct, trespassing, criminal mischief, harassment and violating parole.
She has now had 39 recorded brushes with Douglas County law enforcement in Oregon since 2011.
