Fury over Ronaldo sex biscuit
BISCUITS in the shape of Cristiano Ronaldo having sex have caused outrage after they went on sale in a Portuguesethemed café.
Ronaldo, 33, has been maintaining his innocence after being accused of rape in a Las Vegas hotel in 2009.
Jose Goncalves, who is selling the “popular” biscuits in his Worcester cafe Our Taste of Portugal, has defended his biscuits, saying “everyone is making [fun] of the situation”.
Lydia Johnson, a co-ordinator at The Glade, a sexual assault referral centre in Worcestershire, raged: “I couldn’t really believe it when I saw it on Facebook, I was disgusted to hear about it.
“There’s really no circumstance when it’s ever going to be OK. It’s disappointing and infuriating really to think anybody would think it was a good idea.”
Between 60 and 70 biscuits had been sold by yesterday morning, according to reports.
Mr Goncalves added: “Most people came straight to the Ronaldo cookies because they saw our post on Facebook. And they thought it was really funny so they bought them to take to their friends and family.
“They even told me it was a brilliant idea to do something different.”
