Terror charge man in court
A MAN has appeared in court accused of planning a terror attack.
Steven Bishop, 40, of Croydon, south London, faces one charge of engaging in conduct in preparation for giving effect to an intention to commit acts of terrorism.
A second charge accuses him of making a record of information of a kind likely to be of use to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.
His lawyer, Tim Forte, indicated at Westminster Magistrates’ Court that not guilty pleas will be made to both charges and made no application for bail.
Mr Bishop’s next court appearance will be at the Old Bailey on November 23.
