GROOMING GANG MONSTER SLASHED IN JAIL
ONE of Britain’s most prolific paedophiles has been left scarred for life and needed 40 stitches after being SLASHED with a makeshift blade.
Ahdel Ali, 31 ( left), who led a grooming gang in Telford, Shrops, was attacked by a fellow inmate at Wakefield prison, which left him with a gaping wound from his neck to his shoulder.
The assailant used two razor blades embedded in a strip of cardboard to attack the paedo.
A source said: “Ali and the other lad had a bit of a ruck earlier in the day. Prison officers split them up but they were still furious with each other.
“The other inmate went back to his cell later on and it had been covered in excrement. He flipped, blamed Ali, and went back for him with the blade.
“It was a nasty wound – Ali lost a lot of blood. He went to hospital and had 40 stitches before returning to jail.”
A spokesperson for the Prison Service said: “A prisoner at HMP Wakefield was assaulted on October 21 by a fellow prisoner and this is now being investigated by police.”
Mr Ali was jailed for 18 years in 2013 along with seven other men, including his brother and fellow ringleader Mubarek Ali, 29, following Operation Chalice.
West Mercia police officers said the total number of girls targeted between 2007 and 2009 could be more than 100.
Ali was found guilty of charges including rape, sexual activity with a child, controlling child prostitution, inciting child prostitution and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
