McDonald’s robber shoots himself

AN armed man robbing a McDonald’s accidentally SHOT himself in the leg as he tried to escape.

Donte Grayer, 26, was identified by police as being the suspect in the robbery on Saturday night.

Authorities said that Grayer entered the McDonald’s in Macon, Georgia, at about 11pm while wearing a black and red wig. According to witnesses, Grayer asked to speak with the manager before revealing a gun and telling him to open the safe in the back office.

Witnesses then reported hearing a gunshot from the back office and seeing Grayer flee the restaurant.

Witnesses said they heard Grayer screaming for help while wearing only his boxers, with the red and black wig, clothes and money – “all connected to the armed robbery” – on the ground next to him.
