Mass muder cop ‘purging city of immoral women’

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

A SIBERIAN cop described as Russia’s most prolific mass murderer in modern times has been given a second life sentence.

Mikhail Popkov, 53, murdered 55 women and a policeman near Irkutsk between 1992 and 2007.

He was already in jail for 22 other murders.

He killed the victims after offering them late-night rides in his car. At least 10 were also raped.

Popkov (above) was caught in 2012 after a DNA match identified his car.

The victims were all women aged between 16 and 40, with the exception of a male cop.

In three cases, he was on duty in his police car.

Popkov killed them around the city of Angarsk, near Irkutsk, with an axe and hammer.

He dumped their mutilated bodies in forests, by the roadside and in a local cemetery.

He claimed to be “purging” Angarsk of “immoral women”. A WATERFALL in Hawaii sometimes flows up instead of down BOTH are New York singers and actresses of ItalianAmerican ancestry and both are fond of using controversy to further their careers.

So it’s no surprise that Madonna and Lady Gaga can’t f**king stand each other.

The sexy babes have been in a spat since 2011 and last week Madge reignited the feud by “throwing shade” at comments the Poker Face singer made during interviews for her movie A Star Is Born.

Madonna and Lady Gaga have engaged in a war of the words since Gaga’s Born This Way single was released in 2011, earning comparisons to Madonna’s song Express Yourself.

Gaga, for her part, called the comparison between the two songs “moronic”.

The singers continued firing shots over the two songs’ similarities, with Madonna bringing it back up in a 2015 Rolling Stone interview.

“The only time I ever criticised Lady Gaga was when I felt like she blatantly ripped off one of my songs,” she said.

Gaga hit back in a 2016 interview with DJ Zane Lowe on Beats 1, disputing Lowe’s claim that she and Madonna are alike by seemingly knocking Madonna for not playing instruments or writing music.

But another thing the two stars have in common is the way they love STRIPPING OFF.
