A TEACHER has been suspended after his pupils were taped singing about the Ku Klux Klan to the tune of
A school spokesman said putting John Carver, 56, on leave will allow officials to investigate what happened.
Mobile phone footage surfaced over the weekend of the students singing, “KKK, KKK, Let’s kill all the blacks,” in class at Dover High School in Dover, New Hampshire.
In a letter to parents, the school said the incident was part of a class assignment about the Reconstruction period in American history.
Carver has not responded to requests for comment.
The president of the Dover Teachers’ Union says they are working with school officials to determine the facts.
