Half-nude ‘cop grope’ nut jailed

A MAN who sexually assaulted and hit a police officer while half-naked and wielding a For Sale sign has been jailed for three-and-a-half years.

Luca Jelic ( above), 30, grabbed the female cop’s crotch in the attack in Sheffield, on April 27.

Two female officers had been called to reports of a man damaging parked cars.

When they arrived outside Jelic’s flat at about 3.30am, Sheffield Crown Court heard he confronted them with the sign held like a spear, naked from the waist down.

Jelic shouted sexual comments, including, “lovely girls for me to rape” and “I love sex”.

Tests revealed he had taken ecstasy, and other drugs were found at his flat.

At a previous hearing the female officer, who cannot be named, told the court she tried to disarm Jelic with her baton but he hit her in the face with the sign.

A struggle ensued with Jelic grabbing her crotch.

He was found guilty of sexual assault, actual bodily harm, possession of a Class A drug and criminal damage. THE were jesters in the Roman imperial court. Their name translates as the Little Shits.
