TELLY baking star Mary Berry was stunned into silence when a comedian told her a joke about MASTURBATING A CHICKEN, it has been revealed.
The national treasure was recording a cookery show with the camp comic Joe Lycett when he dropped the FOUL gag.
“She said ‘you’re a comedian, tell us a joke’,”
Lycett confessed.
“I was wracking my brains and the only one that came to mind was about chicken, because we were making a chicken pie.
“So I said that I once misunderstood the meaning of ‘jerk chicken’ – and now I’m not allowed within five miles of a farm.
“She laughed and said, ‘ Oh I like that…. what does it mean?’
“And I said ‘It’s about wanking off a chicken’, because I was confident from the fact that she’d laughed.
“And there was a silence. Then she just said, ‘let’s carry on with the pastry’.
Lycett told the filthy tale on the Richard Herring Leicester Square Theatre Comedy Podcast.
He appeared on Mary Berry’s Christmas Party on BBC One last month – but any mentions of interfering with poultry had been cut out.
