Meth addict wanted cops to test stash
A DRUG addict who was hoping to get his dealer arrested has found himself behind bars instead.
Douglas Kelly, 49, was convinced his methamphetamine was bad – and bizarrely took it to the police station to prove it.
Kelly ( above) said he had suffered a “bad reaction” to some meth he purchased the week before and believed it was proof that he had been conned.
In a phone call he told cops he wanted his stash tested so that he could press charges against the dealer who sold him the drugs.
They told Kelly they were more than happy for him to come to the station to get them tested in person.
Kelly arrived and handed over a “clear, crystal-like substance wrapped in aluminium foil”, say cops in Hawthorn, Florida.
He was slung in the lock-up and charged.
