ANIMAL SEX SHAME COP CAGED
Judge baffled by sick act with bull
A PERVERT cop who kept a stash of extreme animal porn and tried to persuade a mum to have sexual activity with her own children has been jailed for a year.
Disgraced Adam Leighton-Price – who was sacked last month by Avon & Somerset Constabulary after 25 years’ – pleaded guilty at Gloucester crown court to encouraging an adult online to engage in sex with a child under 13.
Leighton-Price, 43, also admitted three charges of having extreme pornographic images of bestiality in his possession.
Those images included video clips of a “man being anally raped by a bull” but were mainly “females with dogs” the court heard.
At previous hearings the court heard that Leighton-Price was suffering Leukaemia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder at the time of his offending.
Defence Lawyer, Brendan Moorhouse said Leighton-Price had struggled to come to terms with it and felt unsupported by his employers.
Prosecutor, Giles Nelson said the sexual grooming offence took place on the internet.
The court heard that Leighton-Price adopted a pseudonym on the Plenty of Fish dating website where he met the mother of two children.
The prosecutor said the woman became so concerned about the nature of Leighton-Price’s messaging she contacted authorities.
When he was arrested the police seized his laptop and found images of extreme pornography involving animals depicting “oral and penetrative sex”.
Dismissed
The court heard that Leighton-Price had been a serving police officer since 1994 and had been dismissed last month as a result of his offences.
Jailing Leighton- Price, of Portbury, Bristol, Judge Ian Lawrie QC told him: “Within you there is a sexual deviancy of concern.”
He added: “You have betrayed your role and office as a police constable.
“Your sexual deviancy is clear from your computer searches.”
The judge said that he found it hard to understand the “physics” of the video of a male being anally raped by a bull.
Leighton-Price must also sign the sex offender register for 10 years.
