HOLLYWOOD superstar Denzel Washington gives off a vibe that suggests you really don’t want to f**k with him. And with good reason, too. The 64-year-old grew up in the tough Mount Vernon area of New York, near the Bronx – surrounded by hoodlums, hitmen, thieves and drug dealers.
And one of those dealers was a glamorous hustler called Frank Lucas, who Washington would ironically eventually go on to play in the magnificent, Ridley Scott-directed 2007 biopic
It tells the story of the extraordinary rise of the drugs kingpin – now in his 80s and retired but formally one of the US’s most infamous criminals.
Because Lucas didn’t let anyone f**k with him either – until the law finally caught up with him.
