SPE­CIAL GEAR: Sus­pect bought ‘kill’ kit A KILLER kid­napped a young woman on a night out with pals, stran­gled her to death in his car and then took her body home.

Louis Cole­man III bought pro­tec­tive gear and bleach from a su­per­mar­ket be­fore chop­ping vic­tim Jassy Cor­reia into bits and stuff­ing her body parts into a suit­case which he later put in the boot of his car.

And when po­lice of­fi­cers stopped Cole­man’s car he told them: “She’s in the boot.”

Jassy, 23, had been out cel­e­brat­ing her birth­day with friends in Bos­ton, Mass­a­chu­setts, and was seen leav­ing a club in the early hours.

She was cap­tured on CCTV get­ting into Cole­man’s car around 2am and in­ves­ti­ga­tors were able to track his ve­hi­cle to an apart­ment block in Prov­i­dence, Rhode Is­land.

CCTV also showed Cole­man get­ting out of the ve­hi­cle about two hours later.

He re­trieved a blan­ket from in­side and was later seen car­ry­ing a body with “long hair and cloth­ing which matched the de­scrip­tion of the vic­tim.

Footage then shows Cole­man leav­ing the apart­ment two days later be­fore re­turn­ing with hop­ping bags.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors got a re­ceipt from a store that showed Cole­man bought three Tyvex pro­tec­tive jump­suits, duct tape, an odour res­pi­ra­tor gas mask, two scented can­dles, a mask, gloves, bleach and safety gog­gles from the re­tailer. VIC­TIM: Jassy Cor­reia

The fol­low­ing day he was seen haul­ing a suit­case from the flat and load­ing it into the boot of his car.

Jessy’s body parts were later found in­side the case. In­ves­ti­ga­tors be­lieve the young mum died of stran­gu­la­tion.

Cole­man now faces a charge of kid­nap­ping re­sult­ing in death, which may lead to the death penalty.
