KILLER CHOPPED UP VICTIM & PUT BITS IN A SUITCASE
SPECIAL GEAR: Suspect bought ‘kill’ kit A KILLER kidnapped a young woman on a night out with pals, strangled her to death in his car and then took her body home.
Louis Coleman III bought protective gear and bleach from a supermarket before chopping victim Jassy Correia into bits and stuffing her body parts into a suitcase which he later put in the boot of his car.
And when police officers stopped Coleman’s car he told them: “She’s in the boot.”
Jassy, 23, had been out celebrating her birthday with friends in Boston, Massachusetts, and was seen leaving a club in the early hours.
She was captured on CCTV getting into Coleman’s car around 2am and investigators were able to track his vehicle to an apartment block in Providence, Rhode Island.
CCTV also showed Coleman getting out of the vehicle about two hours later.
He retrieved a blanket from inside and was later seen carrying a body with “long hair and clothing which matched the description of the victim.
Footage then shows Coleman leaving the apartment two days later before returning with hopping bags.
Investigators got a receipt from a store that showed Coleman bought three Tyvex protective jumpsuits, duct tape, an odour respirator gas mask, two scented candles, a mask, gloves, bleach and safety goggles from the retailer. VICTIM: Jassy Correia
The following day he was seen hauling a suitcase from the flat and loading it into the boot of his car.
Jessy’s body parts were later found inside the case. Investigators believe the young mum died of strangulation.
Coleman now faces a charge of kidnapping resulting in death, which may lead to the death penalty.
