A TEACHING assistant is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old boy who told police ‘It’s every kid’s dream to do a teacher’.

Courtney Roznowski, 31, was arrested after authorities received a tip-off about her and the student.

After Roznowski appeared in court, dates for a plea and sentencing hearing were set – indicating she may plan to take a plea deal.

Police began investigating after an employee at the school told investigators that staff members had been discussing Roznowski’s ‘unusually close’ relationship with the boy.

The pair were often seen walking through the halls together.

Investigators then confronted the victim, who first denied the alleged relationship before telling officers, ‘Well, it is every kid’s dream to do a teacher’.

Officers interviewed Roznowski, who also initially denied the allegations.

But when she was asked to hand over her phone, she began crying and said, ‘We chatted a couple times

TIP-OFF: Roznowski had an ‘unusually close relationship’ with boy so I could make sure he was okay,’ according to the criminal complaint.

She later allegedly admitted to having sex with the boy, although she only intended to be his mentor.

Roznowski also said she loved the victim ‘in a way I didn’t want to see anything bad happen to him’.

She told police that she had been drinking heavily at the time of the alleged relationship and had been going through ‘extensive personal issues’.

The boy eventually told investigators that he had two sexual encounters with Roznowski, who he said told him he was ‘special and deserved special things’.

Roznowski, who was employed at Green Bay Southwest High School in Brown County, Wisconsin, is charged with three counts of sexual assault and two counts of exposing intimate parts to a child.

The age of consent in Wisconsin is 17.

Both her plea and sentencing hearings are scheduled for March 9.
