Virus could pull plug on two-day Swing Fest

-

A SWINGERS’ club is planning a big sex event at the end of August – but it may fall foul of coronavirus restrictions.

HU9, in east Hull, is hoping to hold its annual two-day Swing Fest – including large stage, light show, live DJs, tribute acts, an “adult bouncy castle” and fire breathers.

The private members club says the event is for swingers only and has been advertised on swingers’ websites.

One advertisement says: “We have a great mix of swingers coming from all round the country to our festival.”

It promises a “very discrete (sic) and fun, safe environment” for adults to “take swinging to the next level”.

But one swinger, who is also an NHS worker, questioned whether the event should be held during the coronavirus pandemic.

The swinger, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: “Many hundreds are attending the two-day sold out event, booked into local hotels and have no intention of socially distancing.

“I am a swinger myself but I am also an NHS worker. The level of risk the club’s owners and their attendees are taking is totally irresponsible.”

FLAMING MARVEL: Maitland knows how to make us happy

THE world may be going to hell but sexy Maitland Ward reckons she can change things for the better – with PORN!

Maitland, who shot to fame in the Yank sitcom Boy Meets World, has since shifted to a successful career in adult films.

And the flame-haired beauty says she’s used the Covid-19 lockdown to entertain fans – all while shedding the stigma of porn in the process.

Maitland, 43, said: “People say porn ruins relationships.

“Quite the contrary. When used properly, it can make your sexual life with your partner better than ever.

“It’s not porn – it’s a stale bed that ruins marriages.”

Maitland, who has starred in several films for high-end adult film giant Deeper, is adamant that porn can be a crucial way to connect.

She said: “I just love it when people tell me that I’ve helped get them through this hard time.

“A lot of people tell me that my content is a happy place for them.

“There’s a real need, not only for sexual gratification but also for real, human connection during this time.”
