PERKY EXIT: Masked Whitney after giving evidence at libel trial involving Amber Heard and Depp

THE Johnny Depp libel trial has been heavy going but spectators got some light relief in the form of Amber Heard’s sister Whitney – who sported a pair of pert raspberries as she left the High Court. Whitney Henriquez had been questioned over a video which Johnny Depp’s lawyers claim shows the actress assaulted her. The footage was said to have been given to his legal team by a “confidential source”, after Whitney Henriquez told the court Ms Heard has never attacked her. It was allegedly filmed in 2006 or 2007 and was the unused rushes from a reality television show. In it, a woman says to Whitney Henriquez, “did you get in a fight?” Ms Henriquez told the court the women had been talking about a verbal argument she had had with her sister the night before. The court has been hearing closing statements in the trial. Hollywood star Depp, 57, is suing The Sun newspaper for libel over a piece by executive editor Dan Wooton which described the actor as a

A MAN accused of raping and murdering his friend after a night out told a jury he “accidentally killed her” during sex.

Wesley Streete, 20, told Stafford Crown Court how, after Keeley Bunker’s death, he put her body in a brook and covered it with branches in the early hours of 19 September 2019.

Ms Bunker, who was 4ft 11in and weighed just six-and-a-half stone, was later discovered by her uncle, who was part of a search party looking for the missing 20-yearold in Wigginton Park, Tamworth, Staffs.

Giving evidence in his defence, Streete denied deliberately killing Ms Bunker.

He admitted lying to the victim’s family, friends and the police about what happened because he was “scared” and “embarrassed”.

Streete claimed the two were having sex at the time Ms Bunker died.

His barrister, Rachel Brand QC, asked: “When Keeley Bunker died, did that happen in Wigginton Park? Were you with her?”

“Yes,” he replied, to both questions.

Then Ms Brand asked: “Did you deliberately kill her, Wesley – on purpose?” “No,” said Streete. He was asked: “How did she die?”

Streete replied: “I put my arms around her neck and accidentally beater”.

LIED: Streete told court he was too ‘scared’ to tell truth killed her. We were having sex.”

Asked if it was he who “put her body in the brook” and “covered it with branches”, Streete replied: “Yes”.

“Why did you tell lies about what had happened?” asked Ms Brand.

Streete said: “Because I was scared.

“I didn’t know how to act and explain to other people how she died because I felt embarrassed in myself and very scared to explain to police – everyone.

“My mom and dad – everyone.”

Streete agreed he had had some “problems with reading and writing” and had left secondary school without qualifications.

Prosecutors have told the jury Streete changed his account of what happened at least four times between his arrest and the trial.

Streete, of no fixed address but previously of Tamworth, is also accused of two further counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault and a charge of sexual activity with a child, against three other victims, all said to have happened in previous years.

He denies all charges and his trial continues.

A SCARFACED flasher with “some teeth missing” who exposed himself to a teenage girl is being hunted by cops in Bracknell, Berks.
