SEX MISS SHAGGED TEEN PUPIL
A SCHOOL Miss who was once nominated for teacher of the year has been held on multiple sex acts charges, including shagging a pupil.
Amanda Doll, 37, was taken into custody by officers from the Johnson County Sheriff’s department and slapped with charges including unlawful sex, sex act with a student, and indecent liberties with an underage person.
She was also sacked from her English teacher role at West Johnston High School in Benson, North Carolina, the same day she was arrested.
She is currently being held without bail at the Johnston County Detention Centre.
Outstanding
Doll was previously one of 33 first-year teachers recognised and nominated for this
year’s Outstanding First Year Teacher for their
outstanding performance in the classroom.
School officials said Doll had only worked at the school since May last year and she started as a substitute teacher before she was moved to her last role.
This is the third time in a 12-year period that staffers at the high school have been held for lewd and criminal behaviour.
In 2010, Michael Lance Britt, 38, a band director at the school for seven years, was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual offences involving two students.
Britt had sex with at least one 17-year-old student and took explicit pictures of the pupil, authorities said.
He pleaded guilty to the sex crimes and served 45 days in jail.
In 2011, Todd Fair, 40, a ex school-based cop at West Johnston High School sent inappropriate photos to a student.
He pleaded guilty to a count of disseminating obscenity to a minor under the age of 16.
Fair, a 10-year veteran with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, was sentenced to three to four months in prison, and was suspended to 18 months on probation.
After the incident, Fair had to surrender his law enforcement certificate and no longer was allowed contact with the student.
Stunned
A former student of West Johnston High School, who graduated in 2019, and who chose to remain anonymous, was stunned when he learned about Doll’s recent behaviour.
He said: “I really don’t know what’s going on at that school. I feel like they should be doing something to crack down on that.”
