Spooky plans for Hallowe’en are revealed
IT IS getting closer all the time to the BID’s two big annual events – and we have been finalising all the plans.
We are excited to have now announced the full Spooky Southport line-up, which this year includes a ghost pirate ship, dragons, circus performances and a giant trick or treat party for little ones!
The events will all be centred around the haunted maze in Town Hall Gardens.
We have had a great reaction to the event announcements on social media so far, with event news reaching over 125,000 on Facebook alone in the last two weeks.
Details will be announced soon of this year’s Spook Up Your Business competition and a great Hallowe’en trail for kids.
The window-dressing competition has been won by Wayfarer’s Pudding and Pie for the last two years, but with new owners there the crown is completely up for grabs!
If you are dressing your business or see a shop getting into the spooky spirit in style, please send us a picture. Please keep an eye out, too, for some very exciting announcements about this year’s Christmas Lights Switch-On on November 18. It is set to be a huge event for the town!
This week, we have also been meeting Arriva Buses team and teams from Radio City to discuss some exciting partnership work and promotional opportunities for the town going forward. Watch this space! We are pleased to be supporting Sefton Growth Hub’s new drop-in business clinics. These already hugely popular business clinics are a great way to get free advice and support from experts and professionals from the world of business.
Free to join, head to The Atkinson to meet the business clinic mentors including accountants, solicitors and entrepreneurs who are all keen to help you grow or start your business. All year round, Sefton Growth Hub provides a single point of contact for any business, any size, any sector from Sefton.
This autumn is full of exciting events taking place in Southport – including the drop-in business clinics taking place in The Atkinson
