Lots off stuff going on over coming weeks
ICAN’T quite believe that it is now October! Where has this year gone? Lots going on over the coming weeks and lots to tell you too.
With it now being October, things are starting to get a little spooky round here.
We’re going to be embarking on a number of ghost walks.
After the success of last year, we thought we’d do it again this year.
You can find all the details on our website.
Have you got your Alder Hey PJ’s yet?
I certainly have and it’s all to raise money for the children’s hospital charity.
A big well done to our Jo, who you can hear every Sunday morning from 7 ‘til 10am.
The other Sunday, she finished her show and went straight down to take part of the Seaside 10k.
A big well done Jo, from all of us here at Sandgrounder Radio.
We were also asking last week where the best place is, in the area, to find a really good breakfast.
We had lots of suggestions from listeners and you can read those by scrolling back through our Facebook page.
Well done to all our recent winners as well.
We’ve been giving away chips and sauces to different workforces each week with our friends at the award winning Fylde Fish Bar.
We have also had lots of listeners win some great prizes, thanks to our friends at the Cock and Bottle in Tarleton.
There are even more chances to win, as we may be suprising you with a random act of kindness... or two! All the details on our website. There’s been some stunning autumnal sunsets recently and with the geese starting to arrive, they just signal the start of the season and the fast approaching winter!
Check out the sunset picture that Steve Mulville kindly shared with us! It’s breathtaking! As always, you can listen to Sandgrounder on your DAB+ digital radio, mobile apps, smart speakers and online via www.sandgrounderradio.co.uk
