Our hospice needs you!
WITH less than 100 days until Christmas, Queenscourt Hospice is counting down until the start of its annual Christmas Tree Collection.
Whether you choose a Spruce or a Fir Christmas tree, Queenscourt Hospice is on hand to collect and recycle your Christmas tree, whilst raising vital funds for people in Southport, Formby and West Lancs.
Queenscourt Hospice needs van drivers and Christmas Tree collectors to help over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, January 12-13, 2019.
Volunteers will not only receive a tasty breakfast butty to kickstart their day, but they’ll also be part of a brilliant fundraiser which offers great promotional opportunities for local businesses and organisations who help out at the collection.
Last year the annual Christmas Tree collection raised over £8,000 and volunteers collected more than 800 Christmas trees.
Queenscourt Hospice receives less than 20% of its funding from the NHS and it costs approximately £4m to operate annually, so fundraisers like the Christmas Tree collection can make a real difference to people in Southport, Formby and West Lancs.
If you would like to take part and donate your time to help us during the 2019 Christmas Tree Collection, please get in touch with community fundraiser Rachel on 01704 517420 or email the fundraising team on firstname.lastname@example.org
