Luxury rejig for cinema

Midweek Visiter - - Age Concern -

THE Odeon cinema at Switch Island in Netherton is the latest to undergo a luxury refurbishment.

When completed, it will feature 859 handmade reclining seats across 12 upgraded screens, offering film fans triple the legroom and increased personal space and comfort, as well as individual retractable tables.

The new Odeon Luxe will also include a complete overhaul of the technology, including a new and exclusive state-ofthe-art iSense screen.

The iSense screen measures 15m x 6.2m, and is curved to maximise light reflection, packing cutting-edge Dolby ATMOS 3D sound and 4K digital projectors that deliver almost nine million pixels for an even clearer, ultra-high definition picture.

A full interior and retail makeover will also be in store, with guests able to choose from a range of food and drink options.
