It’s great that our hospice is ‘Good’
WELL, it has turned out to be an incredible month for the hospice! We have been in a state of celebration for two weeks now. First, with Hospice Care Week, which was such a fantastic success supported by so many people who engaged with our “Heart My Hospice” campaign.
Last week, however, was the icing on the cake.
We received the news that the hospice has now been rated as “Good” by
The CQC also identified the positive, open and transparent culture at the hospice where staff felt valued and supported.
Creating this positive working environment was something that was really important to the new senior management team.
On the day of the CQC result being published, staff at the hospice came together for a photograph on the lawn to mark this significant turning point and a new beginning for the hospice.
“This is the result of everyone’s hard work and dedication over the last two years and we all feel incredibly privileged to work here.”
