WWI film screening at church
A SOUTHPORT church will hold a free screening of the film Journey’s End as part of its WWI multimedia commemoration.
Set in a dugout in Aisne in 1918, the film, released this year, tells the story of a group of British officers led by the mentally disintegrating young officer Stanhope, as they await their fate.
The cert 12A film will be shown at Holy Trinity Church on Hoghton Street, Southport, on Friday, November 9 at 7.30pm.
Entry is free and booking is not required.
