MG Own­ers’ Club big cash boost for South­port lifeboat

This was fol­lowed by the an­nual Rocker Box Derby won by five-time win­ner Jerry My­ers, with last year’s win­ner Dave Grant-Wilkie end­ing up as the run­ner-up – con­grat­u­la­tions go to Jerry and Dave.

The club meet­ing was the best at­tended so far this year with 45 mem­bers present.

De­cem­ber brings the an­nual Christ­mas So­cial at Bri­ars Hall.

This is to be on Thurs­day, De­cem­ber 20 which would be the nor­mal club night, but is for ticket hold­ers only.

MG Club mem­bers present the cheque to Paul Hes­keth of South­port Lifeboats OUTHPORT LIfeboat was the ben­e­fi­ciary of a trea­sure hunt and bar­be­cue evening run by clas­sic car own­ers.West Lan­cashire MG Own­ers’ Club mem­bers pre­sented a cheque for £225 to Paul Hes­keth of South­port Lifeboats.This was from the money raised by a bar­be­cue and trea­sure hunt party held at mem­ber David Hose’s farm in Septem­ber.It was David’s choice of char­ity so he, along with Ralph and Dave Gran­tWilkie to­gether with their MGs and a few other club mem­bers made the pre­sen­ta­tion.Mem­bers of West Lan­cashire MG Own­ers’ Club an­nual awards evening was held this Oc­to­ber, with the Pride of Own­er­ship
