Celebrate lives of loved ones
WE welcome you to join us at our Lights of Love Christmas Events 2018. This year they will be taking place on Sunday, December 2 at 4pm at both: Christ The King School, Southport Ormskirk Parish Church With carols, live music and a selection of readings our Lights of Love events are an opportunity for those who have been touched by our care to come together at this special time of year. They are free and open to everyone. All those who come along will be given a mince pie and warm drink.
There will also be a raffle and the opportunity to buy Christmas cards and trinkets.
We’re very grateful to the Hesketh Bank Silver Band and Marshside Brass Band who will be performing whilst we come together to sing.
We would also like to thank Natasha Brookes, past singer with the Joe Loss Orchestra and the Principal of Voice Plus Academy of Arts in Southport, as she will once again be giving a short uplifting performance at the Christ The King event.
We have been so touched by the dedications and donations made so far towards our Lights of Love Appeal 2018 – thank you so much for your support.
Every penny you donate will help us keep giving our special kind of care to local families.
There is still time to support the appeal as the lights will be switched on in the hospice gardens on Sunday, December 2 whilst the Lights of Love events are taking place.
They will then continue to bring some magic and sparkle to the hospice gardens throughout December and January.
Simply donate and make your dedication online at www.queenscourt. org.uk/lights or pick up a leaflet from one of our shops or the hospice reception. There is still time to sponsor a tree! Are you a local business looking to support a local cause and generate some great local publicity?
We are seeking corporate sponsors for each of the trees that will be lit up as part of the appeal.
