Open day at Lit­tle Theatre to at­tract new mem­bers

ON Satur­day, Jan­uary 12 Formby Lit­tle Theatre will open its doors to new mem­bers from 10am to 4pm.

Vis­i­tors will be able to stand on the stage, see what goes on back stage and ex­plore light­ing and sound.

Tea and cof­fee will be avail­able and there will be leaflets to take away that ex­plain the var­i­ous roles with in the theatre.

Formby Lit­tle Theatre presents am­a­teur pro­duc­tions, has just 59 seats and is sit­u­ated on the foot­path be­tween Rose­mary Lane and Lons­dale Road.

Char­ity screemn­ing: Plaza Com­mu­nity Cin­ema EFTON CVS and the Plaza Cin­ema in Crosby are host­ing a char­ity film night in aid of Sefton 4 Good.A spe­cial adult-only screen­ing of Quentin Tarantino’s Reser­voir Dogs will be show­ing at the Water­loo venue at 8pm on Tues­day, Jan­uary 8.Tick­ets for the event are now avail­able for pur­chase from the Plaza box of­fice, priced at £4 for adults or £3 for con­ces­sions.Money raised will go to­wards Sefton 4 Good’s Grant Fund, which pro­vides grants of up to £1,000 to lo­cal good causes through­out Sefton.
