Midweek Visiter

Hitting the heights to mark our birthday

- with Sandgrounder Radio’s Andy Hilbert

WHAT fun we had last week - we celebrated our third birthday!

That’s three years since we launched a truly independent, local radio service for Southport, Sefton and The Liverpool City Region.

To mark the occasion, myself and Dave Turley broadcast live from the very top of Liverpool’s iconic Liver Building.

Oh my goodness if you get the chance to go on one of the Liver Building 360 tours you must go!

It’s truly unbelievable and what they show you in the clock tower is breathtaking.

A special thanks to ‘The Venue At The Liver Building’ and ‘Liver Building 360’ for an amazing experience.

Last week we also made Clair from Southport a winner of a three course meal for six at Genting Casino in Southport, for her dad Steven, for Father’s Day.

We also gave away a pair of tickets to see Marti Pellow at the Southport Theatre and an overnight stay at the Bliss Hotel for

this Saturday.

There’s still time to grab your tickets to see Marti Pellow live this Saturday.

What fun we had at the ‘One Great Day’ event too at Wayfarers Arcade. It was such a pleasure to see the arcade buzzing with people.

We also interviewed the 2019 Miss Liverpool City Region, Finley Unsworth.

We also announced details of our upcoming Summer Tour for 2019, using a piece of true Southport history! It will be an amazing experience, broadcasting around the area, from the historic Southport Circular Tour Bus!

We could be coming to see you!
