Miniature Wargames

5. SOVIET CAMO

-

While that was all going down I sprayed the turrets with a vaguely Russian camouflage pattern using Russian green and a pale bone colour with the former masked out using Panzer Putty. I also started to assemble the Dozers with the Corrugated Iron sheet and the etched brass sheets, both of which I had pre-sprayed with the same rust coloured primer I had used elsewhere. As you can see I had started adding scale ladders and such like as well. Additionally I had begun the weathering process on the Dozers.

I wanted the gun truck armament to be removable for troop transport options so two crew served weapons were mounted on more corrugated iron panels and the crews stuck onto them later after that had dried. It means I have the option of running the truck as a gun truck or purely as transport for miniatures.
