9. GROUND & FINISH

The groundwork was painted in my usual Snakebite Leather colour highlighted with two or three layers of light drybrushing before I picked out some odd stones with grey, highlighted white.

The model was varnished with Galleria matt varnish and clumps of ground foam and static grass were glued to the base. This model boathouse is slightly larger than many of my pieces of terrain and I will be using it alongside my Flintloque miniatures. It is just over 150mm x 110mm x 150mm tall and mounted on to a 3mm plastic card 200mm x 150mm base.
