Warners Shows confirms 2022 motorhome and campervan show enhancements

-

Market-leading leisure vehicle events organiser, Warners Shows, which hosts a series of outdoor motorhome, campervan and caravan shows throughout the year, has confirmed a series of enhancements for the coming season.

The first changes are to the pricing structures for 2022, which have been simplified.

To stay for four nights at all shows now costs just £70 in advance or £90 on arrival, with the exception of the Malvern Caravan and Motorhome Show in October, which will retain its lower price of £50 per pitch for four nights.

Electric hook-up, which is now available at all of this year’s camping events, is a £40 supplement.

In other changes, regulars to the Western Motorhome and Campervan Show in Malvern each August should note that the ‘pink field’, which previously accommodated prebooked general campers, will now be used as the electric hook-up area.

In addition, the only pitches available for those paying on arrival will be in non-booked general area, and those needing a disabled pitch must book in advance.

A £5 discount is still on offer for MMM subscribers and a further £2 off is still applicable for those rallying in a club area.

In other news, jivers will be able to get their rockabilly fix at the Norfolk Motorhome and Campervan Show from 22 to 24 July.

There will not be a Midsummer Show at Stoneleigh Park this year so the organiser has moved the popular theme to the Norfolk show.

Acts performing over the weekend include The Jets, Mark Summer as Elvis Presley, Phil Hayley & His Comments, Mark Robinson & the Counterfeit Crickets, The Revolutionaires and many more.

Boston Jive will visit the show on Friday and Saturday to offer free jive lessons for both beginners and experienced dancers.

They will also be on hand to assist with free 50s hair and makeup tuition for those wanting to fully embrace the retro look!

Showgoers will once again be able to explore the local towns and cities thanks to Warners reinstating the offer of a day trip.

Lockdown rules forced the suspension of this last year but most shows will now offer a visit to a nearby city of interest on the Friday (£15 per person return) and a shuttle bus service into the local town on the Saturday (£4 per person return).

Finally, Warners Shows has taken over the running of the Malvern Caravan Show.

The event, which will now become the Malvern Caravan and Motorhome Show, was previously run by the Three Counties Showground. Head of Events, Sally Dodds, commented, “We have worked with the showground for a number of years, and are thrilled to become the primary organiser for next year. Visitors can expect to see a huge choice of both accessories and new and used models; meanwhile, campers can now look forward to four nights of live entertainment during their stay.” The Malvern Caravan and Motorhome Show will take place from 30 September to 2 October 2022. Pitches are £50 for the four nights when booked in advance, or £90 with electric hook-up.
