Fiamma help

-

I have the Fiamma Carry-Bike Pro E-Bike carrier on the back of a motorhome, which I had recently purchased.

Unfortunately, the screws holding the bottom bike rail (through the upright pole) are badly worn, making it loose.

I enquired through Fiamma’s online service about the part number so I can order a replacement, but received a very disappointing reply telling me to contact the original supplier. Being a brand-leading company I was expecting a helpful reply… So much for customer service.

ED We informed Brian that the Fiamma Online service he used was a UK dealer and not the company itself. It’s very easy to get confused as there are a lot of websites registered with Fiamma in the title, which are not the manufacturer’s website.

This is the official website: fiamma.it/en/service/ customer-service/

Brian replied: I contacted Fiamma Italy on the website you suggested and, within an hour, received an email listing its UK agents/distributors.

I contacted eight of the companies and only received acknowledgement from two, who were unable to help.

I advised Fiamma, who then promised to contact a company in the UK that could help.

The next day, I received an email from another company saying Fiamma had been in touch and, on its instructions, free of charge, dispatched a complete set of fixings.

What fantastic service from Fiamma, which demonstrates excellent customer service, but my experience of support from the UK main stockists was sadly lacking to say the least.

Again, thanks for your help as, without the information you supplied, I would not have resolved my problem.
