Perpetual paper
I agree with Graham Connell’s letter in the Summer edition (p20) of your wonderful magazine. You must be able to devise a more environmentally friendly wrapper.
I love reading your paper magazine every month, and it takes me a lot longer than two hours, as I read most of the content. I hate reading anything digitally. I, too, don’t own a tablet or a kindle. Using a mobile for reading or
searching the web gives me a headache if I do it for too long.
I am not going to sit at my laptop reading a magazine for any length of time as that is also uncomfortable.
I can see why you would have a digital mag as a lot of people want them, but not all. You are constantly promoting the digital mag, so it seems that is the way you’re heading, I just hope it won’t be too soon.
I would be very interested to know how many digital subscribers you have versus paper, as I’m sure Graham and I aren’t the only ones to prefer paper in our hands.

ED MMM is currently too heavy to mail in paper wrapping but most of our sister titles are now mailed in paper wrapping.
The benefits of the digital MMM aren’t just about protecting the environment.
For example, the search
function on the budget edition
motorhome.ma/exdigi22 allows you to search the last 10 years of MMM in an instant for whatever article, subject or even word you’re looking for.
The bugdet digital issue is also far cheaper than the paper MMM, which is very important to many readers.
We also know many of you love paper so we will continue to publish MMM on all these platforms and allow you to make your own choice.
