POINT RODDING

Model Rail (UK) - - What’s New -

The point rodding is simply brass wire soldered/glued to Model Signal Engineering cranks and stools with plastic sleeves hidden below the rails where the rods pass under the track to avoid short circuits. During our planning discussions sufficient accommodation for the rodding was not built into the design of the layout and this gave us some headaches which resulted in the occasional compromise.
