It’s been a long time since I had much to do with ‘OO’ gauge buildings. I think the last time I dabbled with them was when I built some Superquick card kits while on holiday at my gran’s. So, imagine my delight when I received these resin, ‘ready-to-plant’ buildings from the Bachmann Scenecraft range… wow! Beautifully detailed, well-painted buildings that capture the atmosphere of railway structures I was after, and so many to choose from – things have moved on from the days of Superquick! Take your building from the box and place it on the layout. Job done? Well, the only problem is that many other people are doing the same thing. The beauty of these buildings is that they’re really easy to modify. Here are a few simple tweaks to bring some individuality to your buildings, to make yours unique to your layout. Not only that, it’ll spur you on to do more with buildings. You’ll be scratchbuilding before you know it…
