We take a look at all the models announced during the Warley weekend.

Accurascale has chosen the everpopular ‘Deltic’ as its first locomotive. The Accurascale team was given access to the Deltic Preservation Society’s D9009 Alycidon and D9015 Tulyar to ensure that its new model is the ◆ definitive ‘OO’ gauge take on the ◆ English Electric Type 5. Tooling ◆ was due to start by the end of the year, with the new ‘Deltic’ due in stock by the end of 2019. The new model promises myriad detail differences to reflect in-service modifications and tweaks made to preserved survivors that have run on the main line. The impressive spec list includes Shawplan nameplates and regimental crests where applicable, full external and internal lighting, gearbox with helical gears, scale 100mph running capability, sprung metal buffers and a 21-pin DCC socket. Accurascale is also considering supplying ‘EM’ and ‘P4’ gauge wheelsets. It has worked closely with the DPS and sound specialist ESU to ensure that the sound options are as realistic as possible.
