LARGE CLAYTON COMING

Heljan’s range of ‘O’ gauge diesel locomotives is to expand with the distinctive and unusual shape of the Clayton Class 17. It’s been nearly a decade since the Class 17 became part of its ‘OO’ gauge range, and the new 7mm:1ft scale model will feature twin motor bogies, LED lighting functions, etched grilles and sprung buffers. It has also been designed for easy DCC and sound installation, plus provision for an ESU smoke unit. Four liveries are planned: BR green with yellow warning panel, BR green with full yellow ends, BR blue and D8607 in weathered BR green. Delivery is expected in late 2019.
