HATTON’S PLANS GARRATT IN ‘N’

Hatton’s is to produce the LMS Garratt in ‘N’ gauge! The retailer will use the experience it gained working with Heljan on the ‘OO’ gauge model in 2014 to produce a 1:148 scale version of the 33 2-6-0+0-6-2Ts built for the LMS in 1927/1930. Unlike the ‘OO’ gauge model, Hatton’s will only produce the rotating coal bunker. It will also feature just one five-pole motor, which will power the driving wheels at the bunker end. The Garratt will feature a heavy, die-cast chassis, fully detailed cab, NEM pockets and a Next-18 DCC socket.
