EXTRA LIFE AND REALISM

UK electronics specialist Train-tech has unveiled three new accessories designed to bring extra life and realism to your layout. First up is Smart Screen, a working animated, miniature dot-matrix screen that you can customise with your own messages. It can be used at railway or bus stations, miniature sports stadiums and even inside trains. It can be activated by manual switches, DCC commands or one of Train-tech’s Track Sensors. Sound Track (below) is a portable sound recorder which enables you to record your own sounds and replay them automatically on your layout. It has four separate sound tracks, each of which can be replayed either by a controller command, the touch of a button, or triggered by a Track Sensor. The SC100 Automatic Signal Controller enables almost any colour light signal to operate automatically. It can be used with most third-party LED signals, as well as Train-tech’s own signal products.
