OO Works’ next lo­co­mo­tive is the LSWR ‘K10’ 4-4- 0. Th­ese small mixed traf­fic lo­co­mo­tives were de­signed by Du­gald Drum­mond and 40 were built at Nine Elms Works in 1901/02. Al­though built with Drum­mond’s trou­ble­some wa­ter­tube fire­boxes, they put in ster­ling ser­vice af­ter be­ing re­built by Robert Urie in 1924. Sur­pris­ingly, with­drawals didn’t start un­til 1947 but, by the end of 1949, all had gone. OO Works is to pro­duce three mod­els, all with sixwheel ten­ders: No. 347 (Maun­sell green); No. 389 (South­ern wartime black), No. 30382 (BR black early em­blem).
